Silicon Alley Beat: New York Tech, Mobile & Startup Events (October 14 – 19)

Each week we curate a list of the most interesting tech and startup events happening in NYC. Here is our list for the week of October 14, 2013.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you Canadians out there! While our friends from up north put themselves into a turkey induced coma, the rest of us can enjoy another beautiful October week with a great slate of tech, startup and mobile events happening right here in the city.

If you’re like me and are fascinated with Big Data, make sure to check out New York Hadoop User Group: Making Sense of Big Data happening on Tuesday night at 7pm. For the iOS developers out there, you might like the Brooklyn iOS Developer Meetup: EDesign Lab Innovations & Auto Layout Back-to-Basics happening on Wednesday night.

Without further adieu, here is my hand curated pick of the most interesting tech, mobile and startup events happening in NYC this week.  As always, if you want to add your event to my list, please email me or tweet at me!
