As shocking as it sounds, there are indeed some tech people not in Austin for SXSW, myself included! I spent 4 years surrounded by computer nerds in university, personally, I don’t see the allure in spending 3 days amidst a sea of nerd-dom.
If you are around this week, might I suggest you check out the Mobile App Development Bootcamp at the General Assembly this Wednesday between 6-9pm? It’s being led by Bobby Gill (editor of this site, and founder of Blue Label Labs), who I might add knows quite a bit about app development and is actually quite entertaining to listen to.
