    The only thing I don’t agree with is about investment. No investment – no reasonable number of installs. There is very little chance your (even if it’s free) app with get over 50K installs in its lifetime (or stay in TOP 25 of its category to bring new users and revenues on regular basis). And of course freemium is attractive and can be good, but to have your free app noticed on App Store, you have to try so much harder than with the paid app (the competition is too big and the number of trash apps is overwhelming)

      I agree, marketing (including user acquisition) is a must
